Waiting on the First Pitch of the Georgia - LSU Game

The LSU Baseball Team played the first game of a three game series against the Georgia Bulldogs in Alex Box Stadium on April 2, 2010 and defeated the Bulldogs 4 to 3. Trey Watkins and Austin Nola collided and the result was a dislocated elbow for Trey Watkins. He will be out 3 to 4 weeks with the injury. LSU played game two today, April 3, 2010 and lost to Georgia 12 to 6. The Tigers could not get into a groove at the plate. The Tigers also struggled with pitching game. The Bulldogs came out swinging from the very beginning and continued to connect with ball to hit two home runs and scored 12 runs. LSU and Georgia will continue their series on Sunday, April 4, 2010.
